Portal brings together a series of services related to Taxation, including Income Tax

The Federal Revenue announced, on Monday (4), a new website that will bring together all the services offered to citizens and businesspeople. The goal is to unify and improve users' experience in relation to digital interaction with the agency. The portal is now operational.

The platform will be implemented in phases and, in its last stage, will replace the current Virtual Service Center, called e-CAC. Despite this, the Revenue reinforced that the e-CAC will continue to operate normally until all services are adapted to the technology of the new Service Portal.

e-Cac is the website where the taxpayer can see whether they will receive a refund from the IRS after submitting the declaration, where they verify registration data, issue documents for payments, and obtain guidance on carrying out self-regularization and resolving pending issues, if applicable.

How will it work?

In the first stage, the new portal it will function as a systems aggregator, displaying a map of all digital services, organized by interest segments such as “Citizen”, “Responsible for Business”, “Companies in Simples Nacional”, “MEIs” and others.

Users will be able to navigate through icons, side menu or search tool. Once you choose the theme, you will be directed to access the content with the gov.br account.

Features will also be available for evaluating the website and possibly reporting system errors, with guidance on how to proceed.

“The new service portal is the result of extensive research and interviews with different user profiles, which provided accurate diagnoses of the current experience with Federal Revenue services, as well as valuable insights and ideas for building the new platform” , states the Tax Authority in its statement.
